Found this while tooling around on the web. I first read this in National Lampoon when I was in college. Funniest damn thing I read in those years. It pre-dates The Simpsons so it might have been the inspiration for The Itchy & Scratchy Show. The eyes have it!

This was the first thing I read when I picked up a copy of National Lampoon. I was 14 at the time and went to Andy’s drug store in Spiceland, Indiana because I had some money that was burning a hole in my pocket. Never seen anything like it. I wish I could go back with a camera and about 15-20 rolls of film. Thanks for bringing it back

Sad note…read today the author of this, Brian McConnachie, passed away on 2/11/24…Parkinson’s. I knew of his Lampoon days, but didn’t realize he also wrote for SNL and Second City.
