With the exception of Jon Steward, Jonathan Pie (comedian Tom Walker) is my favorite political comedian. Though I find myself laughing at his howling at British politics, that I usually don’t understand, he also covers U.S politics where his analysis is, in my opinion, spot on.
The difference between Steward and Pie is Pie does not wait for the laughs. I’ve only watched his YouTube.com videos where he feigns a dispassionate BBC announcer when the red light of the camera is on, but when the camera supposedly cuts away Pie has a shit fit over the stuff he just reported on. So angry at the politians he’s covering you can see him actually lift his heels to get his point across.
The video above is one of his diatribes against Donald Trump. After November 5 I was so sick that I have tried (though not always successfully) to ignore the President-elect and things related. This country deserves Donald Trump! Jonathan Pie, Jon Steward, and others reminds us we are all not MAGA.
